This quilt's other name is "After a hard day's applique". A friend was teaching me different applique techniques and I had that burning desire to spend some of my sewing time actually sewing. I didn't want to spend a lot of money but had charm squares and a lot of black cotton. I designed this quilt using EQ6. I love how dramatic a quilt can be without being difficult.
I have not included instructions for the construction of the nine-patch blocks but rather have just shown the block variations.
